    • Introduction to Wanvisa Maya Goldman

Work Experience

From Fashion Intern in Paris to Marketing Manager for Extreme Sports Hotel & Restaurant Group in Japan, to running a company in Thailand.

Wanvisa has had a passionate drive for business and marketing since the age of 11, where she created Neopet Guilds in order to bring together a community with similar purposes and values. She self-taught herself some programming such as HTML and CSS through watching videos and a lot of reading. At the age of 13, her parents sent her to learn the technical methods of using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Her love for digital art started when she designed layouts for her Guilds, and then as an adult, expanded into marketing and digital art.

She began her Marketing career working for her parent’s exporting business at the age of 16 to help the family, and of course to learn the ways of business. After the completion of her degree, she went on to work for a street fashion brand in France called Cote & Ciel. Meanwhile, she had just started building a retail jewelry brand with her mother, www.Nerolina.com. After her internship, Maya moved back to Thailand, where she started running the digital and more general aspects of the family business, Thailand Handicrafts.

About a year later, she was offered a job in Phnom Penh, Cambodia as a Marketing & Communications Supervisor for Bodia Spa & Bodia Apothecary.

After that, she got offered a job with Active Life Group Japan as a Marketing Manager, where she worked between Thailand and Japan.

She continued to build Nerolina and Thailand Handicrafts alongside her full-time jobs. In 2019, she worked with the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, Department of International Trade Promotion, to help give training at their monthly seminars on how to write effectively in English in order to help increase their foreign buyer leads and sales.

Now, Wanvisa Maya is building a sports platform, which is a community for women to share their exercise and health lifestyle experience in order to empower each other to stick to their goals and bring out the best in each other.

Now, she manages her time to volunteer at the Pratthanadee Foundation of Thailand, where she is part of the “Buddy Program,” previously known as their Mentors program but with an adaptation to be more approachable.
